This Privacy Policy describes how Palisade Innovation, Inc. ("Palisade," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects Personal Information in connection with our website and related online services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.
This Policy applies to Personal Information that we collect when individuals visit or interact with our Services. When Palisade processes Personal Information on behalf of a business customer pursuant to a separate agreement (a "Customer Agreement"), we act as a processor or service provider and process such information solely in accordance with the Customer Agreement and the Customer's instructions. Individuals seeking to exercise privacy rights regarding information processed for a Customer should contact the applicable Customer directly. Palisade is not responsible for the privacy practices of its Customers.
Palisade collects information that users provide directly, including Account Information submitted when creating or maintaining an account; Communication Information supplied when contacting us, completing forms, or requesting support; Business Contact Information supplied in the context of a commercial relationship; and information provided through registrations for events, webinars, waitlists, marketing materials, or other interactions with our Services. We may also collect Personal Information from your interactions with our social media pages, as well as any information you voluntarily submit in posts, messages, or communications with us through those platforms.
In addition, Palisade automatically collects certain Technical Information when users access the Services, including standard log data, usage data, device and browser information, and other information collected through cookies and similar technologies. We may also obtain information from third parties, including public sources, service providers, data partners, or platforms that integrate or interact with our Services. Where permitted by law, we may combine information from these sources with other Personal Information we maintain.
Palisade uses Personal Information to provide, operate, and improve the Services; to administer user accounts; to communicate regarding updates, operational notices, support matters, and other relevant information; to conduct research and product development; to ensure the security and integrity of the Services; to enforce agreements and protect rights; to comply with legal obligations; and to support the development and refinement of Palisade's analytical models, metrics, scores, ratings, insights, and related outputs.
We may also use Personal Information to send marketing communications concerning products, features, events, or other offerings that may be of interest. Users may opt out of such marketing communications at any time. Opting out does not preclude receipt of non-marketing or service-related communications.
Palisade may aggregate or de-identify Personal Information so that it no longer identifies an individual. We may use or disclose such aggregated or de-identified information for research, analytics, reporting, product development, benchmarking, statistical insights, industry commentary, investment or commercial analyses, or other lawful purposes. Where information is de-identified, Palisade does not attempt to reidentify it.
The Services use cookies and similar technologies to support functionality, maintain security, analyze usage, understand how the Services are accessed, and improve performance and user experience. Users may modify browser settings to manage cookie preferences; however, disabling certain cookies may impact the functionality or availability of portions of the Services.
Palisade may disclose Personal Information to third-party service providers engaged to perform functions on our behalf, including hosting, cloud computing, analytics, customer support, security, payment processing, and communication services. These service providers are permitted to use Personal Information only as necessary to perform services for Palisade and subject to contractual confidentiality and data protection requirements.
We may disclose Personal Information to Customers in connection with administration of accounts, authorized user control, usage reporting, support requests, or as otherwise permitted under a Customer Agreement. We may share information with third-party integrations or services that users or Customers elect to connect to the Services. We may disclose Personal Information in connection with corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, financings, or transfers of assets, whether as part of diligence or upon completion of a transaction. Palisade may disclose Personal Information where required to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, to respond to lawful requests or process, to protect rights or safety, to prevent fraud or security incidents, or to enforce agreements and policies. We may also disclose Personal Information for purposes that you authorize or direct.
Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of Personal Information by contacting Palisade at support@palisadeinnovation.com. For security, we may take steps to verify identity before fulfilling a request and may be unable to fulfill a request where doing so would violate law, conflict with legal obligations, or pertain to data processed on behalf of a Customer. Marketing opt-out requests may be submitted through the opt-out instructions provided in our communications or by contacting us directly.
The Services are operated in the United States, and Personal Information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or other jurisdictions with different data protection laws than those of your country of residence. Where required, Palisade will implement safeguards for cross-border transfers consistent with applicable law.
Where required under applicable data protection laws, Palisade processes Personal Information on the basis of the performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where expressly obtained and not withdrawn.
Palisade employs commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect Personal Information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Despite these measures, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed as fully secure, and Palisade cannot ensure or warrant the security of information transmitted to or through the Services.
Palisade retains Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce agreements. The retention period for Personal Information varies based on the nature of the information and the context in which it was collected. Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained without limitation.
The Services are not directed to children under the age of 16, and Palisade does not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 16. If we learn that Personal Information of a child under 16 has been collected through the Services, we will take appropriate steps to delete such information.
The Services may contain links to websites or online services operated by third parties. This Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services, and Palisade does not control or endorse their content or privacy practices. Users should consult the privacy policies of those third parties.
Palisade may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the Services following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy unless applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
